High grade quality. Perfect for my GPS locator

The item I ordered was the 1601 with magnet base. The case is clear plastic which you can see in the photos, but the photos do not do justice to the quality of this product. The plastic is very thick and durable with a tough high quality hinge and clasp. The magnet is definitely strong enough to place this item without any fear of the box falling off in rough road conditions, and there is a ring gasket around the lip of the box making it water tight. The particular GPS locator I'm using is a Zoombak Universal locator, and it fits nicely in this Otterbox. It was a little loose in the box, so I added one small sheet of bubble wrap in the lid side, and that did the trick. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone needing a good water tight box for their GPS devise and have concerns about it falling off your car in rough (bumpy) road conditions.

this works fantastic for its designed function.
Very strong magnet, waterproof,and tough as nails.

I own two of these, and they are exactly what you need for discreet gps installation.
