The eTrex Legend contains a 12 parallel channel GPS receiver. The Legend steps up the basic GPS navigation system with the inclusion of a built-in base map for all of North and South America containing information on state and county boundaries, lakes, rivers, streams, airports, cities, towns, coastlines, and U.S., state and interstate highways. In addition, the eTrex Legend provides exit information for the federal interstate highway system. The eTrex Legend is equipped with an 8MB built-in memory. The 2.1" H x 1.1" W display is high-contrast LCD with bright back lighting. PC interface cable included. Requires an IBM compatible PC with a 366MHz processor or greater, Windows 95, 1MB storage minimum and a 9 PIN serial port. The eTrex Legend uses two AA batteries (not included).
