The Humminbird Matrix 97 Combo Fish Finder and GPS Chartplotter is an all-in-one fish finder for the recreational angler that offers incredible ease of use and GPS chartplotting. The Matrix 97 is compact, but full of already built-in capabilities, with the ability to add advanced accessories, making it the perfect companion for your fishing outings.

The Matrix 97 Combo provides full GPS navigation, chartplotting and sonar right out of the box. This unit has a built-in 16-channel WAAS GPS receiver, and a four nautical-mile resolution UniMap of USA inland lakes, rivers and coastal areas. The Matrix 97 uses DualBeam PLUS sonar, selectable between 20- and 60-degree beams, or simultaneous operation to deliver both wide coverage and better bottom definition up to 1,500 feet with a target separation of only 2.5 inches. This fish finder includes real-time sonar at up to 40 times per second, and Sonar Echo Enhancement sensitive enough to track a jig to over 40 feet. This unit's high-speed, micro-dynamic transducer is reliable up to 70 mph, and even includes water temperature and GPS speed.

The 97 Combo has a 5.6-inch, 256-color, sunlight viewable LCD screen that sports 240 x 320 lines of resolution, and includes full GPS trackplotting capability, PC-connection capability, and a full-screen trackplotter, a 3D track, and a split-screen sonar track with an adjustable split. The Matrix 97 features programmable, one-touch view presets, a 2x, 4x, 6x and 8x zoom, and a TripLog with distance, elapsed time, and average speed. This unit also features fresh and saltwater set-up options, totally automatic and manual operation, a digital readout with a backlight, adjustable chart speed, and a memory that retains your settings. With alarms for depth, fish, and battery life, an instant image update, and a freeze-frame that pauses the sonar scroll for detailed inspection, it is difficult to find a more complete system.

The Matrix 97 Combo comes as a Transom Mount with a tilt-and-swivel, quick-disconnect mount system, for either Gimbal or in-dash mounting. This unit measures 9.75 x 7.25 x 3.5 inches (W x H x D) as a Gimbal mount, or when in-dash mounted requires three inches of behind-dash clearance. For upgrades, this system is compatible with optional QuadraBeam Bottom Scanning and WideSide Bank Scanning Transducers, as well as Navionics Gold HotMaps on MMC or SD cards. The Matrix 97 Combo is built with fully gasketed and waterproof construction, and is backed by a manufacturer's one-year warranty.
