Navigon FreshMaps Map Update Service
To update my Navigon using this method it was necessary for me to download the entire map update to my device via my computer. As I'm limited to a satellite Internet connection, it took me several long and frustrating tries (multiple hours) before I was able to accomplish the download. I feel that Navigon should offer an update method (CD or DVD) via mail for people who don't have high-speed Internet connectivity.

Navigon 7200T
Received unit a week or so ago. Charged up unit for one hour before powering it on. Unit crashed and needed a reboot twice during the first hour of use. However it is working fine for the past five days, no problems. Looks like it comes with a newer firmware than what is avail on Navigon web site (version 1.3X). The map is fairly accurate; however I have found some errors. The errors seem to be Navteq's mapping errors. There is an error reporting site for Navteq (see Navigon's web site). I urge everyone who has a GPS to file an error report when they see mapping errors. It is fairly simple to do. This GPS is ok for me; I agree with the previous reviewers that the small letters are sometimes hard to read. I also use the unit in a pickup truck and the glare from the back window makes it even harder to read the display. However I am satisfied with the unit and would recommend it to anyone who is at least a little bit technically inclined. It provides more info on and off screen than most other units. Speaker volume is adequate, even in a no-frills pickup truck.
