Now in a thoroughly revised, updated, and expanded edition
By Midwest Book Review
Getting lost in the woods is no fun for anyone. Now in a thoroughly revised, updated, and expanded edition, "The GPS Handbook: A Guide for the Outdoors" by the team of Robert I. Egbert and Joseph E. King, is dedicated to assisting those who love the outdoors to improve their experience for maximum safety through the advantages of a global positioning system. A thoroughly 'user friendly' plain language guide to using the GPS to its fullest, "The GPS Handbook" covers the GPS's many abilities ranging from linking with other devices to being used stand alone. An essential addition to community library reference collections, all dedicated hiker, camper, sportsmen, and outdoor enthusiasts should have a copy of "The GPS Handbook".

Good Book
By George Mitchell
This is a good book for beginners and pros alike. Easy to read and understand with a wealth of GPS-related content. I purchased a hand held GPS and needed a crash course in the basics, this did the trick.
